Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the African American Museum of Dallas during the fair! In order to ensure smooth operations and provide the best possible experience for our guests, we ask that all volunteers carefully read and commit to the following:

Schedule Commitment: By signing up for a volunteer shift, you are agreeing to commit to the date(s) and time(s) you have selected.
If your chosen date is already full, you will receive an email from the Carmina Barnett requesting that you kindly select an alternate date.

Minimum Hours Requirement: To receive a complimentary parking pass (which allows entry for up to 6 people per car into the fair), you must commit to a minimum of 9 hours of service.

Attendance & Accountability: Volunteers are expected to arrive on time and remain for the full duration of their committed shift.
If an emergency arises and you cannot attend your scheduled shift, please notify the Carmina Barnett immediately so adjustments can be made.
